Do you want to live a life that honors God and reflects the virtues of Jesus? Many Christians today may be unaware of the transformative power of Christ's teachings simply because they have yet to take the time to study and understand them. Refrain from following false instructions or, as Jesus says, “Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees,” based on human rules and traditions (Matthew 15:5-12). Jesus warned his followers of the dangers of such harmful influences, urging them to remain humble and open-minded to his Way, Truth, and Life, where Christian Character Counts.
The teachings of Jesus help individuals develop favorable moral qualities and godly habits in their character. Each command is associated with a specific character trait. For example, "Repent" encourages humility, while "Be Born Again" fosters confidence and security in the Lord. The ultimate command, "Make Disciples," promotes flexibility, completing the development of a Christ-like character. These traits are essential for God's people to live in harmony, acting as the salt and light of the world to produce the fruit of life. However, if this is not the case, the Christian may be deceived by false people with toxic beliefs and teachings, leading to a life of profound ignorance to be lost in the wilderness of life.
To be a follower of Christ means to embody the virtues and wisdom he taught. These traits are not easily learned through instruction but are developed through a person's innate qualities, allowing them to embrace their humanity through Christ's teachings fully. Essentially, Christ-like behavior involves learning and adopting the morals, ethics, and behaviors of God to reflect a new life in His glory. All Christians should strive to think, feel, and act like Jesus to be obedient toward life’s goodness.
To lead a fulfilling life and realize your potential in life, it is important to adopt Jesus' wisdom and virtue as part of your character. These two aspects are like the wheels on a cart that will keep you moving forward toward a more fruitful life. To achieve this, begin by placing wholehearted trust in God. Then, commit yourself to follow Jesus in every aspect of your life. This can be done by learning the Christian faith system outlined in the New Testament by Jesus. By following this direction, you can be sure to experience a deeper and more fulfilling life.
As Christians, it's important to remember we should strive to be like Christ every moment of each day. However, this is not something that can be easily learned through education but rather requires a commitment to learning and adopting Christ-like morals, ethics, and behaviors. Therefore, I urge you to take the time to understand and embrace the teachings of Christ to transform your heart, relationships, and reality. Start by placing wholehearted trust in God and commit yourself to follow Jesus in every aspect of your truth. By doing so, you can experience a deeper and more fulfilling life in the love of God and become a positive and healthy influence in the world where Christian Character Counts.
With heart,
