Jesus replied, 'What is impossible with man is possible with God ~ Luke 18:27
It's truly remarkable how Jesus once proclaimed, "What is impossible with man is possible with God." This profound statement captures the essence of the human experience, reminding us that we are limited in our abilities, but with the help of God, anything is achievable. By developing a personal connection with God and nurturing relationships with other believers, we can access a higher power that enables us to overcome even the most daunting obstacles and achieve the impossible. This message of hope is genuinely inspiring and offers a glimpse into the limitless potential we can tap into when we align ourselves with God's plan for our lives when we Just Believe!
To achieve what seems impossible, we must surrender ourselves to God Almighty, El Shaddai, through Jesus Christ. By doing so, we allow His expectations and guidance to shape and direct our lives; this is what we call hope. It's worth noting that submission, often perceived as a negative thing in our culture, is the key to living a fulfilling life. It's essential to recognize that submitting ourselves to God's will and His divine plan is the only way to achieve the impossible with His help in the Christian faith. It's a profound and powerful concept that requires faith, trust, and humility. By submitting ourselves to God, we open ourselves to infinite possibilities and blessings we could never achieve.
Submission is often overlooked, yet it is vital to unlocking true freedom and spiritual growth. According to scripture, submission allows us to lay down our constant need to control and have our way, leading to a sense of liberation in our souls. Interestingly, Jesus himself modeled submission throughout his earthly ministry. He washed his disciples' feet, paid taxes, and even submitted to Caesar's authority. Most notably, he humbled himself and submitted to death on the cross (Philippians 2:8). This powerful example shows us that submission is not a weakness but rather a necessary step towards experiencing the fullness of Christ's freedom and doing the impossible. Jesus calls all his followers to live likewise, saying, “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me” (Mark 8:34).
Let's submit to Jesus and follow his example by surrendering ourselves to God's divine will. When we do so, we'll experience unparalleled freedom and strength, as it comes from genuine submission to God Almighty. It's a bold journey that we're embarking on, one that will require us to navigate through some daunting challenges and seemingly insurmountable obstacles. But with God's grace, truth, and guidance, we can overcome them all. So, I invite you to join me on this transformative and transcendent journey where we'll discover the true meaning of faith, hope, and love and emerge as better versions of ourselves where we attain the impossible by believing in Jesus's words of Just Believe (Mark 5:36).
Believing in the impossible,
Pastor Drake
